What
type of browser should I be using?
Tradewinds recommends the use of an
SSL-enabled browser such as either
Netscape Navigator 4 or Microsoft
Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher.
My
Internet connection disconnected while
I was making a booking. Will I be
billed?
Bookings that are only partly completed
are not charged to your credit card
account. If you did not confirm the
booking or did not receive an email
confirmation of your booking, please
begin your transaction again. If you
have an enquiry about this, please
send an email to: tradewinds_online@singaporeair.com.sg.
Our staff would be glad to assist.
Please note that this service is only
for enquiry purposes. All bookings
must be done on the Internet.
I
can't complete a reservation. Why
is that?
In order to complete a booking successfully,
Tradewinds requires the use of SSL-enabled
browsers. To activate SSL within Internet
Explorer, select the option within
the Advanced tab of the Internet Options
menu.
If
this fails to solve this issue, please
send an email to tradewinds_online@singaporeair.com.sg.

I've
forgotten my password. What can I
do?
To retrieve your password, please
click the "Login" link located
on the home page. Follow the prompts
and fill in your registered Member
ID. Your password will then be emailed
to the email address specified during
your registration.
How do I edit my particulars?
Log into tradewindstours.com and click
on the "Member's Lounge"
link. A link "edit profile"
would appear. Select this link and
edit your personal details. For security
reasons, Tradewinds recommends that
you regularly change your password
to prevent unauthorised use of your
account.

What can I find on Tradewindstours.com?
Plenty! As a member of the SIA Group,
Tradewinds has established a long
tradition of providing quality holiday
packages to both near and far flung
destinations. On our website, you'll
find Group Tours, Free & Easy
packages, Air Tickets, Cruises, and
even Charter packages. Not forgetting
our wide variety of Hotel rooms available
for booking.
How
do I find holiday packages?
On the left side of your screen, there
is a link for Holidays. Click on this
and you will be brought to our Holiday
packages page. From this page, you
will be able to search for your dream
Holiday.
How
do I find hotels?
On the left side of your screen, there
is a link for Hotels. Click on this
and you will be brought to our Hotels
page. From this page, you will be
able to search through our extensive
list of hotels.
Can
Tradewinds provide me with custom
packages, going to more than 1 destination?
While every attempt has been made
to make the website as flexible as
possible, there will be instances
whereby our listed packages might
not fit your needs exactly. If this
is the case, please call (65) 6337
6868. Our Tour Consultants would be
more than glad to assist in planning
for your perfect holiday.
I
need to make a change to my travel
arrangements. What should I do?
No need to panic. Just send an email
to tradewinds_online@singaporeair.com.sg
and our staff would make the changes
for you. However, please note that
certain amendment or cancellation
charges would apply.
I've
seen a package listed in your press
ad but it is not listed on your website.
What should I do?
While every effort has been spent
to ensure that the website lists as
wide a variety of holiday packages
as possible, there might arise occasions
whereby certain packages are left
out due to certain considerations.
In such a case, please call (65) 6337
6868 to enquire about your desired
holiday. Or, email us at tradewinds_online@singaporeair.com.sg.
Can
I make a reservation on behalf of
someone else?
Yes. The member who makes the booking
need not be one of the travellers.
However, do note that for all packages,
full payment would have to be made
before issuance of travel documents.
How
do I know that Tradewinds has received
and confirmed my reservation?
When a booking is transacted, an order
acknowledgement email will be sent
to the email address specified during
your email registration. This email
would provide you with your Booking
ID as well as the status of your booking.
Upon receiving your booking, our staff
will provide you with a status update
within one working day.
Something
has cropped up and I need to cancel
my holiday. What should I do?
If there is a need for you to cancel
your travel arrangements, just e-mail
this address tradewinds_online@singaporeair.com.sg
or call us at (65) 6337 6868. However,
please note that cancellation/change
fees may apply.

Is it safe to provide my credit
card number online?
Tradewinds uses the industry-standard
Secure Sockets Layer security protocol
within the booking process. SSL encodes
any sensitive or personal information
so that this information is kept secure
during transmission. In addition,
Tradewinds does not retain your credit
card information.
Do
I always have to use the same credit
card?
No, you are free to use as many different
credit cards as you wish. However,
refunds can only be made to the credit
card used during the booking.
I
do not own a credit card. Do you accept
other modes of payment?
Tradewinds encourages the use of credit
cards on our website and a credit
card must be used to secure a booking.
However, payment can be made in either
cash or cheque form. However, please
keep in mind that cheques must be
cleared before your travel documents
can be issued. Cheque clearance takes
7 working days. Please also note that
Tradewinds reserves the right to debit
your deposit from your credit card
upon booking.

Do I have to collect my air
tickets and vouchers?
As part of the value added services
of Tradewinds online, courier delivery
of your travel documents direct to
your doorstep is provided free of
charge within Singapore. Overseas
courier fees vary and our staff will
advise you of the charges before confirmation.
Will
the price of the package change after
my booking is made?
Once your booking has been made and
confirmed, Tradewinds naturally guarantees
that no further changes will be made
to the price. However, please note
that taxes and 3rd party charges are
beyond our control and whilst every
effort will be made to contain them,
Tradewinds reserves the right to charge
you these costs.

Tradewinds, as a member of the SIA
Group, takes your privacy very seriously.
You can rest assured that the information
provided to us will be kept strictly
confidential and will not be provided
to third parties (e.g. partner land
tour operators) unless necessary.
