01 DAY:
- ARRIVE - SRINAGAR
After breakfast, departure transfer to domestic
airport to board flight for Srinagar at 12.05 hrs, arrival at
Srinagar airport at 13.20 hrs, on arrival meeting with our
assistance and then transfer to Houseboat.
02 DAY:
- SRINAGAR
- GULMARG - SRINAGAR
After breakfast, full day trip to Gulmarg (meadows
of flowers) 2730 mts above the sea level
Gulmarg:-
Gulmarg legendary beauty, its prime location and its proximity to
Srinagar
naturally make it one of the premier hill resort in country.
Originally named Gaurimargmouth. A moat indicates the dividin it was
renamed Gulmarg in the 16th century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was
inspired by the sight of its grassy slopes emblazoned with wild
flowers. Gulmarg was a favorite haunt of Emperor Jehangir who once
collected 21 different varieties of flowers. Today Gulmarg is not
merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty it also has the
highest green golf course in the world, at an attitude of 2680
meters above sea level, and is the country's prime ski resort in the
winter.
The
distance of 56kms, will be cover in one and half-hour by jeeps.
Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world, and one of the
highest golf courses in the world with 18 holes. You can enjoy a
view of naga parbat if the weather permits. The view enroute from
tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. Gondola ride will be giving to
snow peak. Guide will be along evening back to Houseboat. Dinner
will serverd.Overnight stay.
03 DAY :
- SRINAGAR
– PAHALGAM -
SRINAGAR
After breakfast full day trip to Pahalgam (valley
of shepherds) by jeep the total distance of 96kms.
Pahalgam:- Pahalgam, the
Village of Shepherds
! The Lidder river runs through Pahalgam in a rushing gray-green
torrent, foam flecked, breaking in curling waves against the
boulders that lie in its path. Its sound is an eternal as the
whisper of wind through pine and fir, its force primeval its untamed
splendor.
Will be cover in 3hrs. En-route visit saffron
field of pampore, and enjoy the beautiful countryside drive through
the pine forest. Horse ride will be given along the pony trails to
see magnificant view of the mountains. Evening back to Houseboat.
Stay overnight.
04 DAY:
- SRINAGAR
– YUSHMARG -
SRINAGAR
Full
day excursion to Yushmarg By car. Yusmarg is a small meadow set in
the heart of mountains to the south-west of
Srinagar.
It is an ideal picnic spot and the
Nilnag
Lake
can be visited from here. A two hour drive from
Srinagar
( 47 kms ) will take you to acres upon acres of grassy meadow ringed
by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, awesome and majestic
snow clad mountains.
Drive back from Sonamarg to houseboat and
dinner and overnight stay.
05 DAY:
- SRINAGAR
– SONMARG - SRINAGAR
Full day excursion to Sonamarg by car. The
distance of about 87 kms. Will be covered in about 3.5 hrs. time
Sonamarg lies in Sindh valley strewn with flowers and surrounded by
mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to
high altitude Himalayan lakes. Warm Lunch will be served. Drive back
from Sonamarg to houseboat and dinner and overnight
stay.

DAY: - SRINAGAR
(SIGHTSEENING OF GARDENS)
After b’fast, sightseeing of gardens
visit famous Mughal gardens like- Nishat garden built by asaf khan
the brother of jehangir in 1932 a.d. And Shalimar Bagh built by
jehangir for her wife empress nur jahan. Chasma shaie was bulit by
Mughal all the gardens situated on the bank of
Dal
Lake
with the Zabarwan hills in the back ground. En-route the gardens,
visit carpet weaving factories, Afternoon back to Houseboat.
